PROMISE Product Patterns Library (PPL)
This library offers a set of Product Patterns, an artifact intended to gather the knowledge that software engineering experts have regarding the development of any software product created during the software development lifecycle; this knowledge is presented in an accessible and easy-to-understand way, in order to promote knowledge reuse and to spread the use of software engineering best practices. Current version: 4.2
PROMISE Livelearning Platform
This tool is intended to guide the training of the human resources of an organization, as well as to ease talent's management using information technologies to transform tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge. Current version: 2.4
PROMISE Social Network
This is an enterprise social network intended to manage the formal and informal relationships that coexist into and organization. The idea behind this network is to capitalize the knowledge generated through this relationships during projects execution or during the day-to-day activities of an organization. Current version: 0.8 (Still under development and embedded into Livelearing)
PROMISE Project Manager
This tool is intented to help project managers to make an intelligent management of their projects. It offers an execution guide for project's tasks based on Product Patterns. Current version: 0.4 (Still under development)
PROMISE Decision Support Platform
This tool is intendet to offer decision support to decision makers into organization (such as CEO, CFO, Project Leaders). The idea behind this tool is to offer a dashboard where decision makers will be able to see the state of organization's intellectual capital in real time, and how it is helping to fulfill the strategic goals. Current version: 0.2 (Still under design, implemented using Microsoft Excel)
PROMISE Systemic Process Assets Engineering
This field is in charge of the development of tools for improving the assessment of organizations regarding their Intangible Process Assets. The main tool available at the current time is a system for the assessment of an organization through the identification of its Intangible Assets, indicators and goals, the characterization of these Intangible Assets with respect to its indicator's quality and impact, and finally the visual representation of relations and sequencial cascade causalities for attending problems of the organization. Modelling and Simulation tools and methodologies are being used for representing Process Assets and the dynamics related to these Process Assets interaction regarding strategic objectives. (Still under design). Technologies used: Netlogo, Vensim, PHP web design, etc.
SDE:System Dynamics Elicitor
The System Dynamics Elicitor Tool (SDE) offers students and professionals a means for representing the elements of s complex system using the System Dynamics language. The main goal of this goal is to improve the discussion about the elements of a model before starting the formal process of modelling and simulation. To be used by both inexperienced users and experts in System Dynamics, SDE is useful for generating inputs to formal discussions about potential models before making decisions about the simulation model structure.
